The NHL All-Star Game is returning to the Bay Area, and the San Jose Sharks found the best way to celebrate.
The Sharks are giving away an Owen Nolan-called shot bobblehead doll to all fans at their Jan. 5 game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Nolan authored one of the most memorable All-Star Game moments when San Jose previously hosted the game in 1997. Representing the Sharks and Western Conference, Nolan called his shot by pointing at Eastern Conference goalie Dominik Hasek before capping his hat trick during the third period of the East's 11-7 win. The bobbleheads highlight another incredible season of Sharks promotions , which also include a Star Wars t-shirt giveaway Nov. 3, a Jones figure with a Game of Thrones theme ("Game of Jones") April 6, a new Los Tiburones jersey for Hispanic Heritage night October 20, and a Golden State Warriors-Sharks mashup hockey jersey February 16.
