Wilson traded to Sabres by Red Wings

Forward Scott Wilson was acquired by the Buffalo Sabres in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings on Monday for a fifth-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft.
Wilson, 25, has no points, 13 shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in 20 games this season. He played three games with the Pittsburgh Penguins before he was traded to Detroit on Oct. 21, along with a third-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, for forward Riley Sheahan and a fifth-round pick in the 2018 draft.

Selected by the Penguins in the seventh round (No. 209) in the 2011 NHL Draft, Wilson has 32 points (13 goals, 19 assists) in 123 regular-season games and six points (three goals, three assists) in 23 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
The Sabres also placed forward Matt Moulson
on waivers
Monday. If Moulson, who has no points in 14 games, is unclaimed by noon ET on Tuesday; he will be assigned to Rochester of the American Hockey League.
