Forward Scott Wilson was acquired by the Buffalo Sabres in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings on Monday for a fifth-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft.
Wilson, 25, has no points, 13 shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in 20 games this season. He played three games with the Pittsburgh Penguins before he was traded to Detroit on Oct. 21, along with a third-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, for forward Riley Sheahan and a fifth-round pick in the 2018 draft.
