According to Fanatics, the NHL's official retail partner, the Seattle Kraken have become the league's best-selling expansion identity launch ever. They've beaten the previous leader, the Vegas Golden Knights, four-fold.
Two Kraken items have been in the top three in sales across all Fanatics' sites. The Kraken Fanatics Branded Navy Logo T-Shirt and Fanatics Branded Tri-Blend T-Shirt ranked behind only the highly coveted orange WNBA hoodie.
After the Kraken revealed their name on July 23, the first 24 hours marked a flurry of sales for the online store. Seattle was the top-selling team across all major sports leagues during that period.
