Tkachuk fined for actions in Senators game against Flyers

NEW YORK -- Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk has been fined $2,486.56, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for cross-checking Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton during NHL Game No. 452 in Philadelphia on Saturday, Dec. 7, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 19:33 of the third period. Tkachuk was assessed a minor penalty for cross-checking as well as a minor penalty for roughing.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
