The Ottawa Senators forward showed off his musical stylings by performing on guitar and vocals onstage with James Barker Band at Bert's, a bar and restaurant inside Canadian Tire Centre.
James Barker Band was the guest house band for country night, which fittingly fell on Ottawa's home date against the Nashville Predators on Monday. The Ontario-based country quartet, whose debut album "Game On" won the Juno Award for country album of the year in 2017, performed during the first intermission of the Senators 4-3 overtime win.
It's no secret that Duchene is an avid fan and listener of country music, and he was certain to show his gratitude to the band for letting him on stage.
Too much fun playing with the @jamesbarkerband after the game last night! Thanks for having me up boys, can’t wait to see what’s next for you guys 🤘🏻 @ Canadian Tire Centre https://t.co/6UWEDehLCP
