The diehard Capitals fan produced her version of the team's Stanley Cup portrait from this past June, a project that took more than 40 hours to create.

Kampa donated the drawing to the Capitals for their Casino Night on Sunday. Each of the 21 Capitals remaining from the championship team signed the picture, and it will go to a silent auction with proceeds benefiting the Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation.
"I thought that this charity event would be a great opportunity to go crazy and paint the most elaborate painting I've ever done," Kampa told NHL.com. "It was amazing knowing that all of the players in that picture who are still on the Capitals saw and signed that painting."
You might remember Kampa from when she
caught the Capitals attention after her unique pictures
of the players began showing up in Washington, D.C. establishments.
She and the Capitals collaborated to determine a picture, and ultimately went for the most intensive drawing of her 10-year professional art career.

"The painting process was pretty daunting, but I got into the zone... and it was a great challenge," Kampa told NHL.com. "Knowing it was going to be at an event with some of the biggest Capitals fans, players and people in the organization was a great motivation."
