Hathaway's interest in cooking and his great-grandfather's career as a firefighter inspired his charitable foundation, "Hath's Heroes." Launched in 2019 to give back to first responders, "Hath's Heroes" has teamed up with local D.C. organizations to provide meals to first responders during the current COVID-19 crisis. Visit

Chef Jojo has been a fixture in the Capital Region food scene since 2012. He is known for his work with KitchenCray, Martha's Table, and Zion Church. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, chef Jojo has conducted virtual cooking classes for adults and children and offers private chef services for clients. The longtime hockey fan and recreational player shares his passion for the game as an assistant coach for the Fort Dupont Cannons program under U.S. Hockey Hall of Famer and D.C. hockey legend, Neal Henderson. Chef Jojo hopes to one day cook for his hockey heroes, Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne.
"Skates & Plates" is created and distributed by NHL Original Productions. The recipe for each dish prepared on the show is made available to fans at NHL.com.
