The St. Louis Blues forward is facing discipline for head-butting Arizona Coyotes forward Lawson Crouse.
The incident occurred at 18:53 of the first period in the Blues' 7-4 win at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on Monday. Buchnevich received a match penalty. Crouse finished the game after serving a minor penalty for cross-checking Buchnevich.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: head-butting. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
