The answers ranged from the simple to the unique.
"I'd probably want Jar Jar Binks as a teammate," Tampa Bay Lightning forward JT Brown said. "Because he would be real annoying on the ice and get in guy's heads. No one really likes Jar Jar but me and I like that he would be annoying on every shift."
Some others went in the direction of veteran leadership.
"Yoda. He's awesome. He's the best," San Jose Sharks forward Jannik Hansen said. "I mean, he's got the force. He can teach everybody, and again, he's awesome."
"Probably Yoda," New Jersey Devils forward Drew Stafford said. "Because he's got all the answers for everything and he's pretty tough; he's a sneaky, good fighter. Anytime you need answers he'd be the one to go to because he'd be the smartest one out there."
"I'd probably say Yoda. He's as wise as they come and I think he'd be able to get our team through pretty much any situation," Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bryan Rust said.
"I'd have to go with Yoda, because he's the wisest and smartest," Sabres forward Kyle Okposo said. "He's the man."
And the little green Jedi Master wasn't the only one on the good side of The Force whose skill set would translate to the ice.
"Probably Obi-Wan Kenobi because he's very honest and reliable." Lightning goalie Peter Budaj said. "He'd be good on defense because he'd play an honest game and as a goalie I could count on him."
