Aoki to perform live set before Game 5 of Stanley Cup Final in Vegas

Vegas isn't waiting until after the game on Tuesday to start the party.

The Golden Knights, to no surprise, are set to have quite the pregame festivities ahead of Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Florida Panthers at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday.

Legendary DJ and EDM producer Steve Aoki is slated to perform live from Toshiba Plaza at 3 p.m. local time in what the team is dubbing "the beat drop before the puck drop." Bring your ponchos (and maybe a fork) because Aoki is known for throwing cakes into the audience during some performances.

Following Aoki's performance will be a live flyover of the plaza by two F-35 fighter jets stationed at nearby Nellis Air Force Base.

After all that, the Golden Knights will have the chance to clinch the Stanley Cup title, as they currently lead the series 3-1.
