Suzuki named NHL's second star of the week

The Canadiens' captain posted eight points in three games last week

MONTREAL - The NHL announced Monday that forward Nick Suzuki was name the league's second star of the week for the seven-day stretch ending March 26.

The 23-year-old was productive on all fronts, recording eight points (two goals, six assists) in three games.
In Tuesday's outing against Tampa Bay, Suzuki tallied a pair of helpers, guiding the Habs to a 3-2 win over their division rivals.
Thursday night in Boston, Montreal's captain netted his 22nd goal of the season - a new career high for the centerman - and added an assist for his 200th career NHL point.

The London, ON native added four more points (one goal, three assists) to his season resume in Saturday's win against the Blue Jackets at the Bell Centre.
