MTL@TBL: Lightning legends inducted into Hall of Fame

It was a good night to honor some Tampa Bay Lightning legends.

The team inducted Vincent Lecavalier, Phil Esposito and Martin St. Louis as its inaugural Hall of Fame class.
It was the perfect night for it as St. Louis was already at Amalie Arena as coach of the Montreal Canadiens, the Lightning's opponent Saturday.
Lecavalier and St. Louis helped lead the Lightning to their first Stanley Cup championship in 2004. Esposito is a co-founder of the franchise.

The legendary trio lined up to drop the ceremonial first puck Saturday with Esposito, flanked by Lecavalier and St. Louis, doing the honors between Lightning captain Steven Stamkos and Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki.
The trio was also immortalized inside the arena with large pictures on an all-blue wall that reads "Lightning Hall of Fame."
"It's great, it's a trip down memory lane," Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman said. "It makes you feel a little bit older watching those clips from when I got drafted in 2009. Seems like forever ago. Unbelievable to see everyone and yesterday was a tremendous tribute to those three guys."
