NEW YORK - - Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for roughing Vancouver Canucks forward Conor Garland during NHL Game No. 667 in Tampa on Thursday, Jan. 12, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 19:19 of the third period. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
