The 26-year-old forward, who has 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 12 games this season, is in the final season of a two-year contract and could have become an unrestricted free agent July 1.

Gourde, who was undrafted, was signed by the Lightning on March 10, 2014. Last season he set Lightning rookie records with 25 goals and 64 points while playing all 82 games.
He has 85 points (35 goals, 50 assists) in 116 regular-season games and seven points (two goals, five assists) in 17 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
