Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux will serve as coaches for the
2017 NHL All-Star Celebrity Shootout
, a friendly hockey game featuring 100 Greatest NHL Players honorees and celebrities from the worlds of movies, television and music. The charity game will take place at 5:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, prior to the 2017 Coors Light NHL All-Star Skills Competition and will be streamed live on NHL.com and the NHL App.
* Fans with tickets to the 2017 Coors Light NHL All-Star Skills Competition will be able to enter Staples Center to enjoy the NHL All-Star Celebrity Shootout. Doors open at 2 p.m. PT.

ATKINSON ADDED TO METROPOLITAN DIVISION ROSTER

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Cam Atkinson
has been added to the roster
for the 2017 Honda NHL All-Star Game, replacing injured Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin on the Metropolitan Division roster. Atkinson, who is tied for second in the NHL with 24 goals, leads the Blue Jackets with 24-22-46 in 48 games.

MULTIGOAL OUTINGS POWER CLUBS BEFORE ALL-STAR BREAK

Several clubs won on the final night before the NHL All-Star break via multigoal games from their players:
* Evgeny Kuznetsov (2-0-2) had his first multigoal game of the season to help the League-leading Washington Capitals (33-10-6, 72 points) improve to 13-1-1 in their past 15 games.
* Andrej Sekera (2-0-2) had his second NHL multigoal game (also Nov. 21, 2013 w/ CAR) as the Edmonton Oilers extended their point streak to eight games (7-0-1). Connor McDavid (3-6-9) and Leon Draisaitl (3-5-8) each extended his point streak to six games.

* Brad Marchand (2-0-2) scored to reach the 20-goal mark for the fourth consecutive season and added a second goal to help the Boston Bruins improve to 5-0-1 in their past six home games against the Penguins dating to Nov. 25, 2013 (PIT: 1-4-1).
* Andrew Ladd (2-0-2) ended a six-game goal drought to help the New York Islanders extend their point streak to six games (5-0-1). The Islanders got their first win against the Montreal Canadiens since Dec. 23, 2014, ending a seven-game losing streak (0-7-0).
* Craig Smith (2-0-2) halted an eight-game goal drought and Harry Zolnierczyk scored his first NHL goal since Feb. 5, 2014, when he was with the Penguins, to help the Nashville Predators extend their point streak to five games (4-0-1).
* The Dallas Stars scored four consecutive goals to overcome a 2-0 deficit and end a three-game losing streak (0-1-2), including two by Patrick Sharp (2-0-2).

William Nylander scored to become the fourth Maple Leafs rookie to reach the 10-goal mark this season, joining Auston Matthews (23), Connor Brown (11) and Mitch Marner (11). According to the Elias Sports Bureau, four rookies reached the 10-goal mark in a season for the second time in Maple Leafs history. Gord Hannigan (17), George Armstrong (14), Ron Stewart (13) and Eric Nesterenko (10) also accomplished the feat in 1952-53.

LOOSE PUCKS

Five skaters scored as the Western Conference-leading Minnesota Wild (32-11-5, 69 points) improved to 4-1-0 in their past five games. Mikael Granlund (1-1-2) extended his career-high point streak to nine games (2-9-11). … The Philadelphia Flyers earned their third consecutive win and ended the Maple Leafs' franchise-record road point streak at 11 games (9-0-2). … The Winnipeg Jets scored three times in the final 4:03 of regulation to improve to 4-0-0 in their five-game season series against the Chicago Blackhawks. … Los Angeles Kings goaltender Peter Budaj made 22 saves for his fifth shutout of the season to extend his career high. … The Calgary Flames surrendered a 2-0 lead in the third period, but Johnny Gaudreau (1-1-2) scored with 30.2 seconds left in overtime as the Flames ended a four-game losing streak (0-4-0). … Mike Smith made 19 saves for his first shutout of the season to backstop the Arizona Coyotes to their third consecutive win. … The San Jose Sharks' game against the Oilers marked Doug Wilson's
1,000th game
as general manager of the Sharks. … Bruins forward Brad Marchand was
fined $10,000
for a dangerous trip against Detroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall. … Executive producer of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Andy Lassner received
