Charlie Cook, who plays for the Columbus Special Hockey Team, joined the Blue Jackets on the ice for introductions and stood next to the captain during their celebration of Hockey Is For Everyone on Feb. 7.

The Blue Jackets celebrated an important anniversary for a local hero Feb. 10 when they had Columbus native James "Buster" Douglas participate in a ceremonial puck drop to commemorate the 30th anniversary of his stunning heavyweight boxing upset against Mike Tyson.

Foligno was named the second star of the game after scoring two goals in a 5-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Nationwide Arena on Nov. 29. To the delight of the home fans, he came out wearing an Ohio State football helmet on the eve of the Buckeyes' game against Michigan.
