Waterloo forward Shane Bowers and Green Bay goaltender Maksim Zhukov, top prospects for the 2017 NHL Draft, were honored by the United States Hockey League on Monday.
Bowers, No. 13 on NHL Central Scouting's midterm ranking of North American skaters, was named the USHL CCM Forward of the Week. The 6-foot-1, 183-pound center had three goals and two assists in three games, including two games with a goal and an assist.

In 38 games, Bowers has 14 goals and 16 assists. He's committed to Boston University for the 2017-18 season.
Zhukov was named the USHL CCM Goaltender of the Week. He had a 17-save shutout in his only game last week.
Zhukov, who was born in Kaliningrad, Russia, is No. 5 on Central Scouting's midterm ranking of North American goaltenders. In his first season in North America, Zhukov (6-2, 187) is 12-7-2 with a 2.37 goals-against average, .907 save percentage and three shutouts in 21 games.
