Jarvis tied it 1-1 with a power-play goal at 5:42. Sebastian Aho made a stretch pass to Jarvis, who got behind the Florida defense and deked to his backhand to score in his third straight game.
Reinhart put the Panthers ahead 2-1 at 11:21. Aleksander Barkov intercepted Brent Burns’ clearing attempt and fed Reinhart, who cut to the slot and scored. He leads the NHL with 18 goals this season.
Verhaeghe extended it to 3-1 at 9:05, skating the puck from Florida’s defensive zone and scoring on a wrist shot under the crossbar.
“(Ekblad) made a good play, and (Mattew Tkachuk) hit me with speed,” Verhaeghe said. “I had a lot of speed going in, and I just tried to get the shot through. I’m happy it went in.”
Walker cut it to 3-2 at 6:24 of the second period. He used a screen to score on a wrist shot from inside the blue line.
