All 32 NHL teams will be in action Tuesday with 16 games having staggered starting times beginning at 6 p.m. ET. In addition to a tripleheader on ESPN, the network will have whip-around coverage from 7-8 p.m. ET on ESPN+, and then continue on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET.

There are seven NHL teams averaging at least 4.00 goals per game this season; the Detroit Red Wings are leading the League with an average of 5.00. Nineteen of the 32 teams are averaging at least 3.00 goals per game. The only teams averaging fewer than 2.00 goals per game are the Seattle Kraken (1.83), San Jose Sharks (1.40) and Washington Capitals (1.25).
As far as individual game totals, 14 teams have scored at least six goals in a game this season (Detroit has scored six goals on three different occasions). The Vancouver Canucks have the highest single-game goal output of the season when they defeated the Edmonton Oilers 8-1 on Oct. 11.

Alex DeBrincat of the Detroit Red Wings leads the NHL in home points (10 in three such games) and home goals (seven). Seven players, including four from the Carolina Hurricanes (Seth Jarvis, Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Jaccob Slavin, Stefan Noesen), Elias Pettersson of the Vancouver Canucks, Travis Konecny of the Philadelphia Flyers and Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburgh Penguins, are tied for the most road points in the NHL this season (each has six such points). Konecny leads the NHL with five road goals in three games this season.

Fourteen of the NHL's 32 teams have penalty kill percentages of 80.0 or better this season, including seven of at least 90.0 percent. But there are only two teams still without a power-play goal this season: the St. Louis Blues (none in four games) and Washington Capitals (none in four).
The Edmonton Oilers, who had the best power-play percentage (32.4) in NHL history last season, are converting at 30.0 percent once again this season – and there are four teams ranked ahead of them in the New Jersey Devils (42.9), Detroit Red Wings (39.1), Vancouver Canucks (37.5) and Tampa Bay Lightning (35.0).
