NYI@VAN: Horvat returns to Vancouver

Bo Horvat was welcomed back to Vancouver with open arms.

The New York Islanders forward teared up during his return to Rogers Arena on Wednesday.

Horvat was emotional after a tribute video of his highlights with the Canucks aired on the video board.

Fans gave Horvat a standing ovation as he waved.

It was the veteran forward’s first game back in Vancouver since being traded to the Islanders in January. He spent nine seasons with Vancouver and was the team's captain from 2019-2023.

To top off the return, Horvat scored a goal in the second period to extend the Islanders lead.
