These sweaters were a century in the making.

The Boston Bruins unveiled three unique jerseys to celebrate their 100th NHL season, which is coming up in 2023-24. Each sweater was on display at the Centennial Takeoff fashion show event at Logan Airport’s JetBlue hangar on Saturday.

Defenseman Brandon Carlo walked the runway in the Bruins' sleek new black home jersey.

Newly re-acquired forward Milan Lucic, still in the middle of his tour of being welcomed back to Boston, displayed the new road whites.

Forward Brad Marchand showed off the special alternate sweater that will be worn for select Original Six games.

The old-school inspired home and away jerseys have their numbers outlined in a sparkling "Centennial gold," which replaces the classic yellow trim. All three jerseys feature the Bruins' famous spoked "B" on the front.

“For reaching such a monumental milestone -- our 100th year -- we really wanted to do something special with the sweater,” Bruins president Cam Neely said in a statement released by the team. “We’re excited to introduce three bespoke jerseys, each featuring an original crest design as well as unique elements meant to honor a century of Bruins hockey.”

All three sweaters also have a unique patch commemorating the historic season on the right shoulder.
