Lightning kids first responders

The Tampa Bay Lightning’s kids rescued the day, with adorable content.

Lightning players and their children visited the Tampa Police Department and Tampa Fire Rescue before their First Responders Night on Thursday.

The adorable tots explored the fire trucks and police vehicles with their dads.

Steven Stamkos’ son, Carter, traded in a Zamboni for a fire truck. He even sounded the fire engine’s siren.

The kids tried on the police vests and helmets.

The little Bolts also hung out with their new furry friend, Dutch, the police K9.

All the ear-to-ear smiles certainly did the day justice.
