NEW YORK --Toronto Maple Leafs forward Kyle Clifford has been suspended for one game for boarding Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ross Colton during Game 1 of the teams' First Round series in Toronto on Monday, May 2, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 6:57 of the first period. Clifford was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding.
