Dermott gave the Maple Leafs a 1-0 lead at 5:16 of the second period before Copp tied the game 1-1 at 11:50 with his NHL career-high 12th goal.
"I won't look at these two games as an offensive test for our team," Winnipeg coach Paul Maurice said. "These two games won't have a barometer on how long I stay with these lines. There's one or two more changes we'll look at between now and the end of the year. I won't take these two games as an assessment of what they're capable of."
