Mattias Janmark joins Golden Knights

Welcome to 2021 NHL Trade Deadline day. After weeks of speculation and reports, NHL teams face a 3 p.m. ET deadline to make moves that will put them in better position for a Stanley Cup Playoff run or help get a head start on the future. NHL.com senior writer Dan Rosen will have the news and all day long, with reporters in place across the League.

6 p.m. ET

There were 17 trades involving 26 players completed Monday and though it was heavy with rental acquisitions, one of the biggest trades of the day was the so-called hockey trade between the Washington Capitals and Detroit Red Wings.
The Capitals got forward Anthony Mantha from the Red Wings for forwards Jakub Vrana and Richard Panik, a first-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
Mantha is signed through the 2023-24 season. The 26-year-old has scored 21 points (11 goals, 10 assists) in 42 games with the Red Wings this season.
The Capitals are in first place in the eight-team MassMutual East Division.
The top four teams in each division will qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
This was an all-in move for this season and beyond for the Capitals because they can keep Mantha for two more seasons.
Washington also got forward Michael Raffl from the Philadelphia Flyers for a fifth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, meaning they believe they have a better chance to win the Stanley Cup this season with Mantha and Raffl than they do with Vrana and Panik.
The cost of that game was the three draft picks.
The Capitals, though, will have to get through the Boston Bruins, New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins in the East Division.
The Bruins improved by getting left wing Taylor Hall from the Buffalo Sabres. The Penguins feel they got the big versatile forward they were looking for by getting Jeff Carter from the Los Angeles Kings. The Islanders did their work last week, when they got Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac from the New Jersey Devils.
It was an interesting trading race with the top four teams in the East and now we get to see how it all works out.
The top four teams in the seven-team Scotia North Division also made moves they feel will benefit them.
The first-place Toronto Maple Leafs made the biggest splash in the past two days, acquiring forward Nick Foligno from the Columbus Blue Jackets and goalie David Rittich from the Calgary Flames on Sunday before adding defenseman Ben Hutton from the Anaheim Ducks on Monday.
The second-place Winnipeg Jets beefed up their defense by getting Jordie Benn from the Vancouver Canucks on Monday.
The third-place Edmonton Oilers got the left-shot defenseman they wanted in Dmitry Kulikov from the New Jersey Devils and the fourth-place Montreal Canadiens also added on the back end by getting Erik Gustafsson from the Flyers after acquiring Jon Merrill from the Red Wings on Sunday.
The top two teams in the eight-team Honda West Division went with the forward depth rental acquisitions with the help of the Chicago Blackhawks.
The first-place Colorado Avalanche got Carl Soderberg from the Blackhawks and the second-place Vegas Golden Knights landed Mattias Janmark in a three-team trade involving Chicago.
The third-place Minnesota Wild, fourth-place St. Louis Blues and fifth-place Arizona Coyotes were quiet. It's notable the Blues were quiet because there were rumors of them potentially trading forward Mike Hoffman, a pending unrestricted free agent. He instead stayed put.
The Florida Panthers made the biggest splash of the eight teams in the Discover Central Division on Monday by acquiring forward Sam Bennett from the Flames. They also got defenseman Brandon Montour from the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday and signed forward Nikita Gusev to a one-year pro-rated contract on Sunday.
The Panthers, in third place in the division, know they'll likely have to face either the first-place Carolina Hurricanes or second-place Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round.
The Hurricanes got bigger on the back end by getting defenseman Jani Hakanpää and a sixth-round pick from the Ducks for defenseman Haydn Fleury. They like the fact that Hakanpaa is a big ( 6-foot-5, 218 pounds), physical right-handed shooting defenseman.
Carolina also has Dougie Hamilton and Brett Pesce on the right side. Fleury is a lefty.
The Lightning were quiet Monday after acquiring defenseman David Savard from Columbus on Sunday.
The fourth-place Nashville Predators beefed up their defense too by acquiring Erik Gudbranson from the Ottawa Senators.

5 p.m. ET

The Winnipeg Jets have long been rumored to be in the market for a defenseman. They got one Monday, acquiring Jordie Benn from the
Vancouver Canucks for a sixth-round pick
in the 2021 NHL Draft.
Benn can become an unrestricted free agent after the season, but the Jets aren't worried about that now. They wanted to beef up their defensive depth by adding a player with some experience. Benn fills that need for the Jets, who are in second place in the seven-team Scotia North Division.
He scored nine points (one goal, eight assists) in 31 games this season and has scored 126 points (24 goals, 102 assists) in 548 games with the Dallas Stars, Montreal Canadiens and Vancouver.
Benn has also appeared in 20 playoff games, with three assists.

4:35 p.m. ET

Let's add another two trades that have just become official.
The Nashville Predators have acquired defenseman Erik Gudbranson
from the Ottawa Senators for defenseman Brandon Fortunato and a seventh-round pick
in the 2023 NHL Draft.
Gudbranson scored three points (one goal, two assists) in 36 games for the Senators this season. He can become an unrestricted free agent after the season.
The Predators went from possible sellers to buyers at the deadline because of their play in the past few weeks. They are 12-3-0 since March 15 and have moved up to fourth place in the eight-team Discover Central Division.
Gudbranson helps solidify a defense group that recently got Ryan Ellis back from a long-term injury absence and has Roman Josi, who won the Norris Trophy last season.
The Washington Capitals acquired forward Michael Raffl from the Philadelphia Flyers for a fifth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.
The move to get Raffl comes after the Capitals made it official that they've acquired forward Anthony Mantha from the Detroit Red Wings for forwards Jakub Vrana and Richard Panik, a first-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
Clearly the Capitals, who are first in the eight-team MassMutual Division, believe having Mantha and Raffl is an upgrade from Vrana and Panik, and they were willing to part with three draft picks, including a first-round selection this year, to make it happen.

4:10 p.m. ET

The deadline has passed but the dust is still clearing. Here are some trades reported earlier that have become official:
The Florida Panthers acquired forward Sam Bennett and
a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft from the Calgary Flames for a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft and forward prospect Emil Heineman
, who was selected by Florida in the second round (No. 43) in the 2020 NHL Draft.
Florida is third in the eight-team Discover Central Division, two behind the Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes. The top four teams in the division qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Toronto Maple Leafs got defenseman Ben Hutton from the Anaheim Ducks for a fifth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. The Maple Leafs are first in the seven-team Scotia North Division.
The Montreal Canadiens acquired defenseman Erik Gustafsson from the
Philadelphia Flyers for a seventh-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft
. Montreal is fourth in the North Division, six points up on the fifth-place Flames and nine points behind the third-place Edmonton Oilers.
The Carolina Hurricanes got defenseman Jani Hakanpaa and
a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft from the Ducks
for defenseman Haydn Fleury. Hakanpaa has one point, an assist, in 42 games this season.
The Vancouver Canucks acquired defenseman Madison Bowey and a fifth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft from the Chicago Blackhawks for a fourth-round pick in the 2021 draft. Vancouver is sixth in the North Division, eight points out of a playoff spot.

3:55 p.m. ET

It took until almost an hour after the deadline for
the biggest trade of the day to be announced
.
The Washington Capitals acquired forward Anthony Mantha from the Detroit Red Wings for forwards Jakub Vrana and Richard Panik, a first-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
Mantha is signed through the 2023-24. The 26-year-old has scored 21 points (11 goals, 10 assists) in 42 games with the Red Wings this season.
The Capitals are in first place in the eight-team MassMutual East Division.
Mantha (6-foot-5, 234 pounds) is big, is a right wing with a left-handed shot who could play a middle-six role with the Capitals, who also have T.J. Oshie and Tom Wilson at right wing in their top-nine forward group.
Mantha scored 38 points (16 goals, 22 assists) in 43 games last season.
Vrana scored 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists) in 39 games with Washington this season and 157 points (76 goals, 81 assists) in 284 games, all with the Capitals. Panik scored nine points (three goals, six assists) in 36 games this season.

Anthony Mantha joins Washington Capitals

3:30 p.m. ET

Reports of trades that were agreed upon before the deadline kept trickling in after 3 p.m. ET came and went.
The Nashville Predators reportedly acquired Erik Gudbranson from the Ottawa Senators for American Hockey League defenseman Brandon Fortunato and a seventh-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, according to Sportsnet.
The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired defenseman Ben Hutton from the Anaheim Ducks for a fifth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, according to TSN.
The Ducks replaced Hutton by acquiring Haydn Fleury from the Carolina Hurricanes, according to TSN. The return to Carolina is reportedly defenseman Jani Hakanpaa, who has one point, an assist, in 42 games this season, and a sixth-round draft pick.
The Philadelphia Flyers made two trades, according to Sportsnet, moving defenseman Erik Gustafsson to the Montreal Canadiens, and forward Michael Raffl to the Washington Capitals, according to Sportsnet.
Gustafsson will take the place of Victor Mete, who waived by the Canadiens on Sunday and claimed by the Senators on Monday. The Capitals were in the market for a depth forward and Raffl fills that need.
The Winnipeg Jets filled their need for a depth defenseman by acquiring Jordie Benn from the Vancouver Canucks, according to TSN.
And the Chicago Blackhawks traded defenseman Madison Bowey to the Canucks, according to TSN.
None of these trades have been made official as of this post.

3 p.m. ET

Mattias Janmark is now officially a forward for the Vegas Golden Knights through a three-team trade that involved the Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks.
The Golden Knights got Janmark
, American Hockey League forward John DeSimone and a fifth-round pick in 2022. The Blackhawks got Vegas' second-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and third-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. The Sharks got a fifth-round pick in 2022.
Vegas is second in the eight-team Honda West Division, four points behind the first-place Colorado Avalanche. The top four teams qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Janmark helped the Dallas Stars reach the Stanley Cup Final last season, scoring eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 26 Stanley Cup Playoff games. He scored 19 points (10 goals, nine assists) but had a minus-17 rating in 41 games this season for the Blackhawks.

2:55 p.m. ET

After months of rumors and reports indicating it will eventually happen, it appears Sam Bennett is being traded.
The Florida Panthers have acquired Bennett from the Calgary Flames
for a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft and forward prospect Emil Heineman, who was taken by Florida in the second round (No. 43) in the 2020 NHL Draft, according to Sportsnet.
Bennett, who was the No. 4 pick in the 2014 NHL Draft by the Flames, scored 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 38 games with Calgary this season. He has never scored more than the 36 points he scored as a rookie in 2015-16.
But Bennett has some snarl to his game, physicality and skill, and he could give the Panthers an element in their bottom six that likely will be required to win in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the Discover Central Division, which also features the Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes.
Florida is third in the eight-team division, two behind the Lightning and Hurricanes. The top four teams in the division qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Panthers also acquired defenseman Brandon Montour from the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday and signed forward Nikita Gusev to a one-year contract (remainder of this season) on Sunday.

2:30 p.m. ET

Take Scott Laughton off the trade board.
The
forward signed a five-year, $15 million contract with the Philadelphia Flyers
.
Laughton has been effective playing up and down the Flyers lineup. He has scored 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in 38 games this season after scoring 27 points (13 goals, 14 assists) in 48 games last season.
The Flyers are tied for fifth with the New York Rangers in the eight-team MassMutual East Division, four points behind the fourth-place Boston Bruins. The top four teams qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

2:15 p.m. ET

Carl Soderberg is going back to the Colorado Avalanche.
The
center was traded to Colorado
from the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday for forward Josh Dickinson, who is on loan to the ECHL, and the rights to unsigned draft choice forward Ryder Rolston.
Colorado is first in the eight-team Honda West Division with a four-point lead on the second-place Vegas Golden Knights and 15 games remaining.
Soderberg played four seasons with the Avalanche from 2015-19, scoring 151 points (57 goals, 94 assists) in 321 games.
Soderberg scored 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) in 34 games with the Blackhawks this season. Chicago signed Soderberg to a one-year, $1 million contract on Dec. 26. He can become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
The Avalanche should use Soderberg to bolster their center depth. He can also play on the wing. He can kill penalties too, averaging 1:30 of shorthanded ice time per game with the Blackhawks this season.
Rolston recently completed his freshman season at the University of Notre Dame. He was selected in the fifth round (No. 139) of the 2020 NHL Draft.

2:10 p.m. ET

Mattias Janmark is going to the Vegas Golden Knights to try to help them win the Stanley Cup after coming oh so close with the Dallas Stars last season, according to multiple media reports.
The 28-year-old forward, who can become an unrestricted free agent after the season, has been traded to Vegas from the Chicago Blackhawks in a deal that also involves the San Jose Sharks.
There are draft picks and minor-leaguers involved, but the trade isn't official and the details are trickling in. Stay tuned for them.
The Sharks got involved to facilitate the cap space Vegas needed to make it work to get Janmark, who signed a one-year, $2.25 million contract with the Blackhawks on Oct. 12. He can become an unrestricted free agent after the season.

1:45 p.m. ET

Alex Iafallo is off the board as a potential trade target because
the left wing has agreed to terms on a four-year, $16 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Kings
. The contract has an annual average value of $4 million.
Iafallo and the Kings negotiated late into Sunday night without coming to an agreement before re-engaging in more contract talks Monday morning, according to TSN.
He would have been a valuable asset to acquire before the deadline because of his ability to play up and down the lineup, score, get to the front of the net, play on the power play and penalty kill, and be an effective 3-on-3 overtime player as well.
But the Kings never wavered in their interest to extend Iafallo's stay in L.A. and now that will happen with him signed through the 2024-25 season.

1:35 p.m. ET

The Dallas Stars claimed Sami Vatanen off waivers from the New Jersey Devils.
The Stars are sixth in the eight-team Discover Central Division, six points behind the fourth place Nashville Predators.
The top four teams in each division qualify for the playoffs.
Vatanen scored six points (two goals, four assists) in 30 games with the Devils this season. The 29-year-old can become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
It's fair to wonder if Vatanen is simply going to fill a roster spot that will be open later Monday because of a trade. There have been reports of teams interested in acquiring Stars defenseman Jamie Oleksiak, who is a pending unrestricted free agent.
Stay tuned on the Oleksiak front, but Vatanen is now a member of the Stars.

1:30 p.m. ET

The Ottawa Senators have claimed defenseman Victor Mete off waivers from the Montreal Canadiens.
Mete was limited in his usage by the Canadiens this season, playing 14 games with three assists.
He became expendable Sunday, when Montreal acquired defenseman Jon Merrill from the Detroit Red Wings for a fifth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and forward Hayden Verbeek.
The 22-year-old fits into the age range of the Senators' young defense. Thomas Chabot is 24, Artem Zub is 25 and Erik Brannstrom is 21.
It's also fair to wonder if the Senators acquiring Mete means they could be moving on from another defenseman. Erik Gudbranson is a pending unrestricted free agent and could be traded before the deadline.
The Senators are building for the future. They're last in the seven-team Scotia North Division, 13 points behind the fourth place Canadiens. The top four teams in each division reach the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

1:10 p.m. ET

Dmitry Kulikov is officially a member of the Edmonton Oilers.
The New Jersey Devils
traded the defenseman to Edmonton for a conditional fourth-round pick
in the 2022 NHL Draft.
As mentioned in an earlier post, Kulikov beefs up the Oilers' defensive depth and should slide into their top-six group once he completes his seven-day quarantine per Canada's COVID-19 restrictions for people crossing the boarder from the United States.
Caleb Jones and William Lagesson have been rotating into the top six since Slater Koekoek went out with a collarbone injury on Feb. 23.
Kulikov had two assists and a minus-4 rating in 38 games with the Devils, averaging 19:33 of ice time per game. The 30-year-old defenseman
has played in 715 games with the Florida Panthers, Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres and Devils.

Dmitry Kulikov joins Edmonton

12:45 p.m. ET

We have another trade to announce.
The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired forward Adam Gaudette from the Vancouver Canucks for forward Matthew Highmore.
Gaudette, who came out of NHL COVID-19 protocol on Sunday, has scored seven points (four goals, three assists) in 33 games this season after scoring 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists) in 59 games last season.
His 12 goals, 21 assists, 33 points and 59 games played last season were career highs across the board.
Gaudette, 24, can become a restricted free agent after the season.
Highmore, 25, has two assists in 24 games with the Blackhawks this season. He scored three goals in nine playoff games last season.
Highmore is signed through next season.

12:10 p.m. ET

The Edmonton Oilers are beefing up their defensemen group by acquiring Dmitry Kulikov from the New Jersey Devils for a draft pick, according to NHL Network's Kevin Weekes.
Details are slim at this point, but Kulikov could go into the Oilers' top-six defense group with Darnell Nurse, Tyson Barrie, Adam Larsson, Kris Russell and Ethan Bear. Nurse, Russell and Kulikov are left-handed shots.
Caleb Jones and William Lagesson have been rotating into the top six since Slater Koekoek went out with a collarbone injury on Feb. 23.
The Oilers likely wouldn't be in this position if they had Oscar Klefbom, but he was ruled out for the season in December because of shoulder surgery.
Kulikov had two assists and a minus-4 rating in 38 games with the Devils, averaging 19:33 of ice time per game. The 30-year-old defenseman has played in 715 games with the Florida Panthers, Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres and Devils.
The Oilers are third in the seven-team Scotia North Division, seven points behind the first-place Toronto Maple Leafs. The Devils are seventh in the eight-team MassMutual East Division, 14 points behind the fourth-place Boston Bruins. The top four teams in each of the four divisions reach the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

12 p.m. ET -- Fantasy spin: Hall to Bruins

There will be a shift in the fantasy rankings after the Boston Bruins acquired Taylor Hall from the Buffalo Sabres, a move that gives the left wing obvious bounce-back potential for the rest of the season.
Hall has a chance to return to elite form down the stretch with the chance to play on the Bruins' second line with valuable center David Krejci and right wing Craig Smith and first power play with elite forwards Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak.
Fantasy editors Pete Jensen and Rob Reese have the fantasy
recap of all the biggest trades
and will also drop a new episode of the
NHL Fantasy on Ice podcast
and update their player rankings on
NHL.com/Fantasy
after the deadline.

11:25 a.m. ET

Things have gone quiet around the Calgary Flames, general manager Brad Treliving told TSN.
The Flames traded David Rittich, who was their backup goalie, to the Toronto Maple Leafs for a third-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft on Sunday. They are fifth in the seven-team Scotia North Division, six points behind the fourth-place Montreal Canadiens. The top four teams in the division will qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Treliving didn't sound as if he's ready to give up on this season even though the Flames are 2-8-0 in their past 10 games. Calgary has played three more games than Montreal but scheduled to play the Canadiens five more times.
"We're all disappointed, but having said that we're not ready to do an autopsy on the corpse right now," Treliving said. "Our job as management, coaches, players right now is focusing on what's ahead of us. Management has a job to do today to look at not only today but moving forward, but I'm not going to get into doing an autopsy of our team right now. We'll go through the deadline today and see if there's opportunities to help us, whether that be now, moving forward into the future, draft capital, those types of things prospect wise. And then we'll get ready for a game tomorrow in Toronto and push as hard as we can in the remaining games and then see where we get to in the offseason."
Calgary has forwards Derek Ryan, Josh Leivo and Joakim Nordstrom, pending unrestricted free agents who could be interesting rental options for depth purposes for other contending teams.
Forward Sam Bennett, a restricted free agent after this season, has long been rumored to be on the move out of Calgary, but it doesn't seem as of now anything is pending on that front.

Elliotte Friedman discusses the latest around the NHL

10:35 a.m. ET

We have an update on the Alex Iafallo situation.
TSN is reporting the forward, who can become an unrestricted free agent after this season, and the Los Angeles Kings have kept working through contract negotiations and it's possible a contract could be coming instead of a trade.
There's little doubt that the Kings like Iafallo and believe the left wing can be a part of their future. He's in the age bracket at 27 years old that makes sense to keep him.
Stay tuned on the Iafallo front.

10:20 a.m. ET

Connor Garland is a player to watch before the 3 p.m. ET deadline, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman said on NHL Network, but will the Arizona Coyotes trade their second leading scorer while they're in the race to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs?
It's an interesting and likely difficult to question for the Coyotes to answer because of Garland's value to them, but the right wing has value on the trade market too.
Arizona, which has lost three games in a row, is fifth in the eight-team Honda West Division, one point behind the fourth-place St. Louis Blues, who have won three in a row. The top four teams qualify for the playoffs.
Garland, who has scored 31 points (10 goals, 21 assists) in 41 games, can become a restricted free agent after the season. He has scored two goals in 18 games since March 8.
The Coyotes also have defensemen Alex Goligoski and Jason Demers, and forward Derick Brassard, who all could become unrestricted free agents after this season.
What the Coyotes do in the next 4 1/2 hours will determine the trajectory of the rest of their season. Do they believe they're a playoff team? If yes, Garland likely stays, as do the others. If not, it could be an interesting quick sale in the desert.

9:35 a.m. ET

Alex Iafallo remains in play as a trade target because the forward and the Los Angeles Kings have not been able to agree on terms for a contract extension despite negotiating into late Sunday night, according to TSN.
Iafallo, who can become an unrestricted free agent after the season, is an intriguing player to be on the market.
The 27-year-old left has scored 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists) in 39 games this season after scoring 43 points (17 goals, 26 assists) in 70 games last season.
Iafallo can be effective as a top-six or bottom-six forward. He has played regularly on the Kings' top line with center Anze Kopitar. He's strong in the defensive zone and plays well in transition.
Any team that was in on Taylor Hall before the left wing went to the Boston Bruins could circle back around and find out what the Kings want for Iafallo, knowing the Price for Hall did not include a first-round draft pick.
The Sabres traded Hall and forward Curtis Lazar to the Bruins for forward Anders Bjork and a second-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.

8 a.m. ET

The 2021 NHL Trade Deadline is at 3 p.m. ET and there are some big names to watch even after a flurry activity late Sunday. Forwards Mike Hoffman of the St. Louis Blues and Alex Iafallo of the Los Angeles Kings could be on the move, along with San Jose Sharks forward Patrick Marleau, Detroit Red Wings goalie Jonathan Bernier, Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton, Chicago Blackhawks forward Mattias Janmark, and maybe Anaheim Ducks defenseman Josh Manson.
There will be more, too.
But Sunday will be tough to top.The Boston Bruins landed left wing Taylor Hall, the biggest name on the trade market, acquiring in a trade with the Buffalo Sabres without giving up a first round pick.
The Pittsburgh Penguins got the big center they wanted by acquiring Jeff Carter from the Kings. He has one year remaining on his contract.
The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired the extra forward that can move up and down their lineup in Nick Foligno, who was captain of the Columbus Blue Jackets. They also got some goaltending insurance by acquiring David Rittich from the Calgary Flames.
The Bruins also added depth to their defensemen group by landing Mike Reilly from the Ottawa Senators, and the New York Islanders did the same by getting Braydon Coburn from the Ottawa Senators. So too did the Montreal Canadiens, who acquired Jon Merrill from the Red Wings.
Hall, Foligno, Rittich, Reilly, Coburn and Merrill are all pending unrestricted free agents.
There will be more activity, more player movement, more picks and prospects changing hands before the deadline, and you can follow along with all the rumors, reports and official trade news right here in our 2021 NHL Trade Deadline Live Blog.
