NHL.com will be running weekly installments of the Trophy Tracker series this season, looking at leaders for the Hart (MVP), Norris (top defenseman), Vezina (top goalie) and Calder (top rookie) trophies. Though there can be only one winner for each award at the end of the season, five NHL.com writers per division will be ranking their top three for each award. Here is the final installment of the regular season.
Here are the voting totals (points awarded on a 5-3-1 basis):

Leader last week:Varlamov, 23 (four first-place votes)
Why I picked Varlamov:"He is the difference right now for the Islanders, playing extremely well behind a team that is playing well in front of him. He's making the saves he's supposed to make and, of late, all the saves on tough chances against too. He's been the steadiest goalie in the East all season." -- Dan Rosen, senior writer

Leader last week:Fleury, 21 (three first-place votes)
Why I picked Grubauer:"Maybe Grubauer and Fleury should arm wrestle to decide the best in the West. I'm kidding, but it is tough to choose between the two. I'm still impressed with how Grubauer's handled the workload this season for the Avalanche. He's played 30-plus games in previous seasons, but those were 82-game seasons." -- Tracey Myers, staff writer

ARI@COL: Grubauer robs Keller on the rush

Leader last week: Kane, 23 (four first-place votes)
Why I picked Barkov:"The Panthers are going to the Stanley Cup Playoffs on the back of Barkov, who carries them in every way. The captain is dangerous at even strength, on the power play and shorthanded." -- Roarke

Why I picked Hellebuyck:"Jets coach Paul Maurice said in March that Hellebuyck is 'the best goalie I've ever had and it's not particularly close,' a true testament to how valuable he has been. His ability to bounce back after a bad game is one reason he's gained the trust of his teammates night in and night out." -- Mike G. Morreale, staff writer
