SEA@COL, Gm5: Kartye records first NHL goal in Game 5

Tye Kartye had a storybook NHL debut on Wednesday.

The Seattle Kraken forward scored his first career goal during his first NHL game in Game 5 of the Western Conference First Round against the Colorado Avalanche.
Kartye one-timed a feed from Jordan Eberle to give the Kraken a 2-1 lead in the second period.
His parents witnessed the special moment from the Ball Arena stands.

Kartye was called up from the Coachella Valley Firebirds after Jared McCann was ruled out of Game 5 with an undisclosed injury. The forward was named the AHL's rookie of the year after recording 57 points (28 goals, 29 assists) this season.
