MONTREAL -- Troy Terry scored in the fourth round of a shootout and Tyler Parsons stopped all five shots in the tiebreaker to give the United States a 5-4 victory against Canada in the gold medal game of the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship at Bell Centre on Thursday.
It was the second straight game Terry gave the U.S. a victory with his shootout heroics. He went 3-for-3 in a 4-3 victory against Russia in the semifinals on Wednesday.
