J.T. Miller scored the go-ahead goal at 1:26 of the third period and had an assist, and Thatcher Demko made 33 saves for Vancouver (37-37-7), which has won three of four.
"When you don't make the playoffs, you look for [little] victories and having a guy that gets 100 points is nice, but now we want team goals," Canucks coach Rick Tocchet said. "I love that 'Petey' got it, but it's better if we start having more team goals than the individual stats, for me."
Drew Helleson scored his first NHL goal, Mason McTavish also scored and Lukas Dostal made 33 saves for Anaheim (23-46-12), which has lost 12 in a row (0-10-2) to match the longest skid in franchise history.
Helleson made his NHL debut Sunday in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Colorado Avalanche.
"It was great to see 'Helly' score," said Ducks forward Benoit-Olivier Groulx, who was recalled from San Diego of the American Hockey League on Tuesday, two days after Helleson. "Since the start of the season with [San Diego], he's probably been our top defenseman. It's just really good to see him get rewarded in the NHL."
