Reinhart returned after missing three games in NHL COVID-19 protocol, and second-line center Sam Bennett played 14:52 returning from a three-game suspension for a hit on Montreal Canadiens forward Cedric Paquette on Jan. 1.
"They're both important pieces," Panthers coach Andrew Brunette said. "It's great to see both of these guys back. We're blessed with a lot depth right now, and adding those pieces just makes us even stronger."
Ekblad gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead at 5:18 of the first period with a point shot through traffic.
Reinhart made it 2-0 at 6:24 when he tipped Radko Gudas' point shot. It was Florida's second goal in 1:06.
"[Starting fast is] extremely important, especially at home," Ekblad said. "It's important for us. Making good, simple plays early, getting a good forecheck, it really puts a team on their heels, and scoring that first goal is huge."
