NEW YORK -- Cal Clutterbuck broke a tie midway through the third period and Andrew Ladd scored his first goal with the New York Islanders in a 4-2 win against the Vancouver Canucks at Barclays Center on Monday.
Jason Chimera and Nikolay Kulemin had goals and Jaroslav Halak made 30 saves for New York (5-6-2), which ended a three-game losing streak, all at home.
"I just think we had a little bit of puck luck tonight," Islanders coach Jack Capuano said. "I think the last few games we've played well, we just haven't got results. It's good for guys to get that feeling, because I know they deserved it."
