Riley Sheahan scored the first goal in Kraken history, cutting it to 2-1 with a backhand in front at 2:32 of the second period.
McCann tied it 2-2 on the power play at 8:36, before Ryan Donato's power-play goal gave Seattle a 3-2 lead at 11:01.
Nils Hoglander tied it 3-3 at 12:30.
Jack Rathbone gave Vancouver a 1-0 lead 10:28 into the first period, and Brock Boeser made it 2-0 on the power play at 11:50.
The Kraken have five more preseason games and will not play in Seattle until their home opener against the Canucks at Climate Pledge Arena on Oct. 23. They open their regular season at the Vegas Golden Knights on Oct. 12.
