Defenseman Olli Juolevi signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Vancouver Canucks on Friday.
Juolevi, who the Canucks selected with the fifth pick at the 2016 NHL Draft, is the 11th first-round pick to sign. The Helsinki, Finland, native had 42 points in his first season playing in North America with London of the Ontario Hockey League. He helped London win the Memorial Cup and Finland win the gold medal at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship.
