The Vegas Golden Knights will play the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference Second Round.

Vegas advanced by eliminating the Winnipeg Jets with a 4-1 win in Game 5 of the first round at T-Mobile Arena on Thursday.
The Golden Knights, who are the No. 1 seed from the Pacific Division, will have home-ice advantage against the Oilers, who eliminated the Los Angeles Kings with a 5-4 win in Game 6 of that series on Saturday. Edmonton is the No. 2 seed from the Pacific.
Chandler Stephenson (four goals, four assists) and Mark Stone (three goals, five assists) led the Golden Knights in the first round with eight points each. William Karlsson scored four goals.
Laurent Brossoit started all five games for Vegas, going 4-1-0 with a 2.42 goals-against average and .915 save percentage.
Vegas went 1-2-1 against Edmonton during the regular season, with three of the games being one-goal games. Jonathan Marchessault (three goals, two assists) and Jack Eichel (one goal, four assists) each had five points, and Stone, Karlsson and Keegan Kolesar each scored two goals.
Four different goalies started each of the four games for Vegas against Edmonton. Adin Hill allowed four goals in a 4-3 overtime loss Nov. 19; Logan Thompson made 33 saves in a 4-3 loss Jan. 14; Brossoit allowed three goals on 30 shots in a 4-3 overtime win March 25; and Jonathan Quick allowed six goals on 34 shots in a 7-4 loss March 28.
The Oilers were led by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who had nine points (one goal, eight assists) against the Golden Knights this season. Leon Draisaitl had eight points (five goals, three assists) and Connor McDavid had seven points (one goal, six assists). Stuart Skinner was 2-0-1 with a 3.59 goals-against average and .878 save percentage, and Jack Campbell allowed three goals on 27 shots in his only start, a 4-3 win Jan. 14.
Vegas and Edmonton have never played each other in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
