Smith scored into an empty net off Eichel's pass at 17:00 for the 4-1 final.
"We won all three periods, which is exactly what you want," Hill said. "That was a good 60-minute performance, and now we can get on the plane, watch it again, and see what we need to fix for Boston (on Monday)."
Eichel left in the third period with an apparent lower-body injury.
"He was obviously in some discomfort and wasn't able to come back, but I can't give an update now," Cassidy said. "He's being evaluated, but I saw him in the room, which is good. If anyone wants to play Monday in Boston, it's Jack (a Massachusetts native and former Boston University player), so he'll do everything he can to be out there."
