Who better to kick off the Stanley Cup Championship Tour than Nicolas Roy's cat?
The Vegas Golden Knights forward took the Stanley Cup to his hometown of Amos, Quebec on Saturday to help celebrate the team's championship and, of course, had to grab a photo with his cat, Pedigree, in the Cup.
Roy's girlfriend, Laurie Pepin, posted the photo of Pedigree in the Cup on her Instagram story with the caption, "First things first."
The NHL Instagram page also posted a photo of Roy and Pepin posing together with the Cup, but it's clear Pedigree sitting in trophy was a priority.
Couldn't let the cat miss out on the fun for too long.
Roy also paraded the Cup around town with his family to showcase it for his community.
