Brock-Myles

Brock Myles beat the summer heat on his day with the Stanley Cup by going face-first into some ice cream.

Myles, who has been the Washington Capitals equipment manager for the past 12 seasons, dove into a heaping helping of mint chocolate chip with his family Friday

Before a house party, the Chelsey, Ontario, native stopped by nearby Tara, Ontario, to pose for a picture by a plaque dedicated to Fred "Cyclone" Taylor. Taylor is recognized as one of the first professional hockey players and won the Stanley Cup with the Ottawa Hockey Club in 1909 and the Vancouver Millionaires in 1915. Taylor was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1947.
