Capitals to give away Milano Chia Planter, more fun items this season

Washington Capitals fans can look forward to seeing a S-S-S Sonny Milano this season.

The team announced their full slate of fan giveaways on Monday. One of the highlights will be a Chia Planter in the likeness of the veteran forward.

The Milano Chia Planters will be given out to all fans on Jan. 11 before the Capitals' game against the Seattle Kraken.

Milano quickly became a fan favorite after signing with the Capitals at the start of last season. He scored 11 goals and recorded 22 assists all while sporting his signature hairstyle.

The team will have 14 all-fan giveaways during the season, including a bucket hat (Oct. 24 vs Toronto Maple Leafs), fanny pack (Nov. 2 vs. New York Islanders), Hawaiian shirt (March 22 vs. Carolina Hurricanes) and Darcy Kuemper bobblehead (March 26 vs. Detroit Red Wings).

But the Milano giveaway will certainly be one fans won't want to brush off.
