No. Just ask Charles Barkley.
As if competing against Michael Jordan in the 1993 NBA Finals wasn't hard enough, the NBA on TNT analyst suited up to take shots from Wayne Gretzky during the first intermission of the NHL on TNT Wednesday night.
In the five-puck shootout, Barkley saved one.
Barkley didn't stand a chance against Gretzky's first top-shelf rip, or his second between-the-leg sneak. Barkley's butterfly technique needs major work, but he managed to save one when Gretzky's third shot hit Barkley's leg and left the puck lingering on the goal line.
The third and fourth shots mimicked the first two and Barkley dropped the shootout 4-1.
As Gretzky once said, you miss 100% of the shots you try to save against him, or something like that.
