TRENDING UP

Florida Panthers: Goalie Roberto Luongo is 2-0-0 with a .959 save percentage since returning from a lower-body injury. Wing Mike Hoffman has the longest active point streak in the NHL (10 games) and has recently been moved to the top line with valuable forwards Aleksander Barkov and Evgenii Dadonov. Defenseman Keith Yandle is tied for sixth among defensemen with 13 points (three goals, 10 assists). If the Panthers improves their power play (20.4 percent; 16th), they could find themselves among the 10 best fantasy teams soon.
Vancouver Canucks: Center Elias Pettersson has nine points (five goals, four assists) over the past five games. Center Bo Horvat leads Canucks forwards in ice time (22:02 per game) over the past five games, where he has six points (two goals, four assists). Defenseman Erik Gudbranson has made a case to be a short-term streaming option with five points (one goal, four assists) in the past five games. Even with injuries to right wing Brock Boeser (groin) and defenseman Alexander Edler (knee), the Canucks have surprising fantasy relevance.
Ottawa Senators: Right wing Mark Stone leads the NHL with 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in five games since Nov. 1. Defenseman Thomas Chabot is ranked second over the span with nine points (two goals, seven assists) and leads the position with 22 points (five goals, 17 assists) in 16 games. The return of rookie left wing Brady Tkachuk makes defenseman Maxime Lajoie, who plays on the second power play with Tkachuk, worth streaming again. The Senators do not have a goalie among the top 25 but have multiple fantasy options at the other two positions.

TRENDING DOWN

Montreal Canadiens: Goalie Carey Price is 1-3-1 with an .854 SV% in his past five starts. Defenseman Jeff Petry has two points in his past three games but is minus-7 over the span. Outside of the Canadiens' first power-play unit of Petry, Tomas Tatar, Brendan Gallagher, Max Domi and Jonathan Drouin, they lack intriguing streaming options. With improved goaltending and the eventual return of defenseman Shea Weber, the Canadiens could still improve their fantasy stock.
Pittsburgh Penguins:Goalie Matt Murray is 0-3-1 with an .839 SV% in his past four games. Right wing Patric Hornqvist has no points and is minus-6 over Pittsburgh's five-game losing streak. Right wing Phil Kessel has two assists and is minus-5 over the same span. Defenseman Kris Letang had 11 points (four goals, seven assists) over the first eight games but one assist in the past five games. Center Derick Brassard (lower body) has been out since Oct. 25 but has resumed skating and would give a much-needed boost to the struggling Penguins.
