Week 6: Fantasy team power rankings for 2018-19

NHL.com has updated the fantasy hockey team power rankings based on the latest top 200, with added emphasis put on top 100 players. Other factors taken into account include rank of goalie(s) and power play, lineup and injury trends and overall upside and team security for standard leagues.

Columbus Blue Jackets:Right wing Cam Atkinson has five points (three goals, two assists), a plus-4 and 11 shots on goal in his past three games. No. 1 center Pierre-Luc Dubois has five points (three goals, two assists) and 14 SOG in the same span. Since defenseman Seth Jones made his season debut Oct. 23, he's tied for sixth among NHL defenseman with nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 12 games. Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky is 4-1-0 in his past five starts with a .951 save percentage. The Blue Jackets are also getting contributions from depth forwards Anthony Duclair and Alex Wennberg, who have combined for nine points (four goals, five assists) over the past five games. They had seven different goal scorers against the Florida Panthers on Thursday.
Minnesota Wild: Center Mikko Koivu (19 percent owned in Yahoo) has 10 points (two goals, eight assists), five on the power play, over the past six games and is worth rostering in all formats. He has helped left wing Zach Parise bounce back from injuries in recent years and brings additional value in leagues that count face-off wins (44 since Nov. 8; T-8th in NHL). Defenseman Jonas Brodin has emerged as a streaming option with four points (one goal, three assists) in the past four games. Wing Nino Niederreiter has two power-play goals since Nov. 8, and the Wild have four total in the span (T-4th in NHL).

INJURY CONCERNS

Tampa Bay Lightning:Goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a fractured foot. Backup Louis Domingue, who will likely see the majority of starts until Vasilevskiy returns, entered NHL.com's top 25 goalie rankings. Despite the Lightning not having their No. 1 goalie, they are still the deepest fantasy team in the NHL. Center Brayden Point had a hat trick against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday and is tied with forward Mathieu Joseph for the Lightning lead in goals since Nov. 8 (three). Wing Alex Killorn leads the Lightning with five assists over the span and has emerged as a short-term streaming option in season-long leagues and value play in DFS contests.
Nashville Predators: Wing Viktor Arvidsson is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with a broken thumb. Wing Kevin Fiala has replaced Arvidsson on the top line with center Ryan Johansen and left wing Filip Forsberg. Fiala had six points in four games skating on that line during the preseason. Defenseman P.K. Subban has been placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, and Dan Hamhuis will skate in his place with Mattias Ekholm at even strength. Ekholm saw some power-play time on the first unit with Forsberg and Johansen on Thursday.
Pittsburgh Penguins: Center Sidney Crosby could miss one week with an upper-body injury. Center Derick Brassard could return Saturday after missing the past nine games with a lower-body injury. Recently acquired left wing Tanner Pearson (10 percent owned) has bounce-back appeal skating in the top six with elite center Evgeni Malkin and right wing Patric Hornqvist.
