Alex Goligoski had the breakfast of champions on Thursday.
The Minnesota Wild defenseman was surprised by his kids with donuts that spelled out "1000" in honor of his 1,000th NHL game. His two kids also made him a homemade sign that read "Go dad! I love you."
Goligoski said in a video posted by the Wild that his son understood and was excited to see his dad play in the monumental game, but his daughter was more excited about the donuts for breakfast. Of course, the Goligoski kids were on hand to fist bump their dad through the glass during warmups before the Wild's game against the Vancouver Canucks.
