The Winnipeg Jets forward is facing discipline for boarding Calgary Flames defenseman Oliver Kylington on Saturday.
The incident occurred in the Flames zone at 20:00 of the second period during Winnipeg's 2-1 overtime win at Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan, in the 2019 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic. Lowry received a two-minute minor penalty for boarding. Kylington continued to play the rest of the game.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: boarding. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
