A young fan named Blake held up a sign that read he came from Toronto to see Auston Matthews and Mitchell Marner play during the Maple Leafs game against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena in Tampa.
Unfortunately for Blake, Matthews and Marner were not in Tuesday night's lineup due to being rested for the game.
However, the Maple Leafs staff weren't going to let Blake go home disappointed.
After the game, Blake got to meet his heroes, Matthews and Marner, who autographed his sign and his shirt. The two also gifted the young fan with a signed stick and posed for a picture.
