TORONTO, ON - If one thing is becoming certain, it's that newly-signed Oilers forward Devin Shore is a sure thing.
The six-year National Hockey League veteran was invited to Oilers Training Camp on a professional tryout. The forward converted a pencilled-in opportunity on the team into penning a one-year, two-way contract.
Shore, 26, is proving to be a steady and versatile addition to Edmonton's forward group after slotting into the lineup in the second game of the season. Not only can the 2012 second-rounder play centre or wing, but also lists depth and defensive responsibilities on his resume.
