EDMONTON, AB - At a fitting seven pounds and four ounces, 'Beau Stuart Skinner' was welcomed into the world by parents Chloe and Stuart at 10:52 a.m. on Saturday, January 14.
The 24-year-old netminder missed the final two games of the Oilers last four-game road trip to return home so he could be with his wife Chloe ahead of the birth of their first child that arrived the morning of Edmonton's 4-3 win on the road against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Stuart was pleased to report from the Oilers dressing room following Monday's practice at Rogers Place that both Chloe and Beau are doing well as the Skinners settle into their new life as a young and happy family.
"Beau is great. Chloe did fantastic, she did an amazing job," Skinner said. "I'm so proud of both of them and one of the coolest experiences I've ever been a part of."
