EDMONTON, AB - It's all in a day's work for defenceman Adam Larsson.
On and off the ice, you can always count on the 6-foot-3 rearguard for his honesty. Both with his play and his assessment of it.
In his third season with the Orange and Blue, Larsson suited up in all 82 games - the second time he's played a full regular season schedule in his career. The Swedish blueliner put up 17 assists and 20 points with the Oilers this season - both mark the highest totals he's put up in Edmonton since joining the club in 2016.
However, the defenceman admitted his struggles on the defensive side of the puck, which ultimately impacted his all-around game and confidence in all three zones.
It was on Jan. 20 when Larsson first vocalized his frustration following a 7-4 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.
"I'm playing so bad right now, I don't know what it is," said Larsson post-game. "I need it to stop as soon as possible.
"I'm not skating. I feel like I'm working hard but I'm too passive right now. That's not a part of my game. I know how good I can be but I'm not even close right now. This is as bad as it's been."

"The consistency was an issue for me this year. I know I can bounce back from that," said defenceman Adam Larsson.
