BLOG: Oilers make two trades and more from practice on Sunday

The Oilers practiced at Rogers Place on Sunday ahead of Monday's New Year's Eve game against the Winnipeg Jets.
Line combinations were:
Khaira - McDavid - Rattie
Rieder - Draisaitl - Yamamoto
Caggiula/Spooner - Nugent-Hopkins - Puljujarvi
Lucic - Brodziak - Kassian
Defence pairings were primarily:
Jones - Larsson
Nurse - Russell
Gravel - Benning
Sekera - Garrison
Chris Wideman left the ice before the main portion of practice and it was later announced that he was traded to the Florida Panthers in exchange for Alexander Petrovic. Shortly after that it was announced that Drake Caggiula and Jason Garrison were traded to Chicago for Brandon Manning and prospect Robin Norell.
