The Oilers have inked 25-year-old free-agent right-winger Mitch Callahan to a two-year deal.
The 2009 sixth-round pick of the Detroit Red Wings has played in five NHL games in his career. In the AHL, Callahan has played 365 regular season games - all for the Grand Rapids Griffins - scoring 94 goals and recording 92 assists and 422 penalty minutes.
In 60 AHL playoff games, Callahan has 13 goals and 21 assists.
